LLM leaderboard 2026:
every benchmark, one ranking
Every benchmark. One leaderboard.
240 LLM benchmarks from 43 benchmark publishers (77 of them feed the index), reconciled into one set of standings once a day (the run starts at 22:03 UTC). BenchLeader runs no evaluations of its own: it lines up what Artificial Analysis, LMArena, Epoch AI, LiveBench, SWE-bench and the rest have already measured, so every model is judged on all of the evidence at once, at the reasoning effort it was actually run at.

- How are AI models ranked on BenchLeader?
- BenchLeader runs no tests of its own: it combines results already published by independent benchmark publishers. Each benchmark's scores are standardised so that 50 is the average evaluated model and 15 points is one standard deviation; the benchmarks are averaged within their category (coding, reasoning, maths and so on), and the categories into the BenchLeader Index. A model needs at least five independent results across at least two categories to be ranked, and thin evidence is shrunk toward 50. The full method is on the methodology page.
- How often is the leaderboard updated?
- Every day: the run starts at 22:03 UTC, and the last one finished on 26 Oct 2026. What changed each day is in the daily digest on the blog and in the Atom feed.
